The world's population is growing rapidly, but our natural resources are finite. So we have to be more careful with them. But what should we do? Simply eat fewer animal and more vegetable products? Well, it would seem that it's a bit more complicated than that and this became clear at FrieslandCampina Institutes's conference on sustainable food held in Utrecht (the Netherlands) on 19 June 2018.
The power of nutrition in sports
Sport and nutrition is a golden combination! Getting the right balance results in more strength, greater endurance, better recovery and improved sporting performance. This is relevant for both top athletes and (enthusiastic) recreational athletes. On Friday 13 October 2017, over 850 sports and nutrition professionals attended the 2nd Conference on “Sports & Nutrition” organised by the FrieslandCampina Institute in the Netherlands.
